Remote Data Wall, manufactured by Bridge Technologies, is the recipient of one of the industry’s most prestigious technology honors, NewBay Media’s Best of Show Award, presented at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas by TV Technology.
The Remote Data Wall (RDW) lets users with no special skills set up rich graphical data wall displays with diverse sources of data, and display them across multiple TV or computer screens to form a larger composite videowall. The RDW is html5 based, not dependent on any special hardware, and can be viewed from any location, either in its entirety, or in a selected subset of display data.
“Bridge Technologies’ Remote Data Wall is a video wall designed for today, where mobile, connected staff may be working from multiple locations; not just the control room, but on the road, in a hotel room, or at home – anywhere,” said Simen Frostad of Bridge Technologies. “The RDW provides an easy way to gather and present the most important collections of information from the monitoring system and third-party sources, to help hard-pressed technical personnel understand it more easily from minute to minute, and keep track of the operation in any level of detail, from any location.”
NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.
“Recognition with an award at the NAB Show from NewBay Media’s Broadcast & Video Group is a strong vote of confidence and admiration from our leading industry publications,” said NewBay Media Broadcast & Video Group Vice President & Group Publisher Eric Trabb.
Winners receive an award for display and will be featured in TV Technology, the digital television authority, serving the broadcast, cable, production, post production, business and new media markets.
All nominated products also are featured in the special Best of Show Awards Program Guide, to be distributed in digital edition form to more than 100,000 readers of TV Technology, Digital Video, Video Edge, Radio World, Radio magazine, Pro Sound News and Sound & Video Contractor after the convention.
